Lunch with Leaders is Back
Lunch with Leaders brings people together over lunch for thoughtful conversations about leadership and work. We’ll meet at a local restaurant (everyone orders their own lunch) and spend an hour learning, sharing, and connecting. Each session centers on a short reading or podcast and is designed to be informal, inclusive, and discussion-driven. Attendees purchase their own lunch and participate as much or as little as they like.
There is no charge to attend; however, RSVPs are appreciated to help us plan seating accordingly.
May 19 at Noon I The Magic of Mattering I Warbird Whiskey I Excelsior Springs, MO
What does it mean to truly matter at work — and what happens when people don't feel like they do?
Research tells us that employee engagement is at a 10-year low, and it's not because people don't care. It's because too many people feel unseen, unheard, and undervalued. This month's article explores the concept of the "mattering deficit" and what leaders can do about it — not through grand gestures, but through small, intentional moments that make a real difference.
This is one of those conversations that's relevant no matter what kind of organization you lead or serve. Join us for lunch, and let's dig in together.
Attendees order and pay for their own lunch. RSVPs are appreciated to help us plan seating accordingly.
